This recent installation in Widnes shows a job at exactly the right stage: the fireplace in and working while the rest of the room is still being decorated. The fireplace sets the focal point, and the room gets finished around it.
What we fitted
A Wildfire Ravel 750 high efficiency gas fire, inset with a log effect fuel bed behind a wide glass front. The surround is a bespoke marble fireplace made at our own Osnath Works factory, with clean stepped detailing and integrated downlights in the header, standing on a matching marble hearth.
The finished effect
The light marble against the black frame of the Ravel gives the room its anchor before a drop of paint has gone on the walls. The downlights wash the surround in warm light in the evenings, and the log effect burner gives a proper flame picture with heat at the turn of a switch.
