Visit Heatwave Fireplaces in Warrington

Showroom address: Heatwave Fireplaces, Osnath Works, Lythgoes Lane, Warrington, WA2 7XE.

The simplest way to get value from a showroom visit is to arrive with a few basics. A couple of photos of the room, a rough idea of the opening size if you have a chimney, and any notes about what you like visually. Even a quick snapshot on your phone helps.

Why seeing displays lit matters

A fireplace can look completely different once it is running. Flame height, bed lighting, reflections on the trim, and how the surround frames the fire are all hard to judge online. In the showroom you can stand back and see scale, then get closer and look at the details.

Because our displays are lit and running daily, you can compare styles side by side. If you are weighing up different fuel routes, seeing a fire operating in front of you makes the choice clearer. If you are not sure what to ask, start with this: what is the job of the fire in your home. Is it mainly visual, mainly heat, or both. That answer changes what you should prioritise.

Brands you can explore

We stock brands and ranges including Charlton and Jenrick, Wildfire, Dimplex, PureVision, Gallery, Penman, Evonic, Flamerite, and MI Fires.

If you have already shortlisted a model, call 01925 230045 before you travel and we will confirm what is currently available to view.

Made to measure fireplace surrounds

If your fireplace opening or chimney breast does not suit standard sizes, a made to measure surround can be the difference between something that looks almost right and something that properly fits the room.

At Osnath Works in Warrington we make made to measure fireplace surrounds in marble, stone and wood. If you bring measurements and photos, we can talk through what is possible and what style will suit the proportions you have.

Helpful measurements to bring include the width and height of the opening, the width of the chimney breast, and the height to any picture rail or shelf line you need to work around. If you do not have exact numbers yet, photos still help.

How installation works

Installation is carried out by trusted independent engineers. We can arrange and coordinate dates as part of the sales process, and the fitting charge is paid by the customer direct to the engineer on satisfactory completion. This keeps the process clear and lets you deal directly with the engineer for the fitting side of the work.

Depending on your home and what you choose, a survey may be needed before installation. This is where the practical checks happen, such as confirming the route for any flue or ventilation, and making sure the chosen fire or stove is suitable for the space.

If you are considering a stove

Stove choices are not only about looks. The condition of the chimney and flue, the room size, and how you plan to use it all matter. If you are unsure, start with a simple question: do you want occasional ambience, or do you want a regular heat source.

It is also worth checking whether your property needs to follow any smoke control rules. If you are not sure, treat it as a question to confirm before you commit to any solid fuel option.
