Frequently asked questions
How does the flame and smoke effect work?
It uses Dimplex Optimyst technology, a fine water mist lit by LED that looks like real flames and drifting smoke. You top up the water tank from time to time.
Does the stove give off heat?
Yes. It has an electric fan heater of up to 2kW to warm the room and you can run the flame effect on its own with no heat.
Do I need a chimney or flue?
No. It is an electric stove, so it needs no chimney or flue.
Can I move it?
Yes. It is freestanding and runs from a standard socket, so it can sit almost anywhere and move with you.
Do you install it?
Yes. We supply and set up electric stoves across Warrington and the surrounding areas.
